We had such an amazing experience for 12 years at Southpark Animal Hospital. Dr. Long and Dr. Sophie were always so incredibly supportive. The last year +, we saw a lot of Dr. Sophie because of our aging Teddy, and let me tell you - how blessed we were to have her by our side. She is compassionate and caring - as well as honest. She walked us through super hard decisions and was there every step of the way. She has an incredible gift and we are so thankful for her professionalism (and humanity!) at the end of our sweet Teddy’s life. We won’t be getting another pet for a while - but when that time comes, we will certainly return to Southpark Animal Hospital for their amazing staff and Dr. Sophie 💕🫶🌈

Veterinarian care is always superb. The staff is incredibly friendly and patient, my dog is healthy after every visit. We had to put one of our dogs down some time ago and they were very careful and considerate during the whole process. We have been happily going for more than 5 years now with our second dog.

We have been taking our fur babies to Southpark Animal Clinic for almost twenty years. Dr. Lisa Long and Dr.Wayne Mercer have walked us through the trials and tribulations of bringing home three new puppies and a rescue kitty, and have cried with us when we had to say good bye to all four of our previous cats. They are professional, brilliant, and loving. The vet techs and staff members provide excellent customer service and always show kindness to our animals. We love Southpark Animal Clinic and recommend this practice without reservation.

Always a great experience here! The staff members are all so friendly and knowledgeable, and I’ve found that the prices are reasonable considering the high quality of service and care. Between my dog and three cats, I’ve had the pleasure to work with pretty much every doctor at SouthPark, so I can vouch that all of them are exceptional and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

The BEST Veterinarian care in Charlotte. Long time location on Park Rd @ Selwyn Avenue, this practice has been open more than 60 years, at least (Started by Dr. Hagaman). The current lead Vet, & practice owner, Dr. Wayne Mercer, & his staff have cared for my pets (3 dogs {Boxers} & a rabbit) for more than 20 years. Boarding available.
