Bubba loves going to the vet. He gets so much attention. The staff is amazing with him. Thank you for all your services couldn’t ask for a better place to take my baby boy.

I am a small independent, Warmth4Ferals that is primarily a cat rescue located in Battle Lake MN and drive a bit over an hour just to bring our rescues to Southgate. They've been wonderful and very often will get a rescue or on of my personal furries in so fast if needed. I've never felt they do unnecessary labs or other tests, nor pressured to them. As a rescue, we've encountered that multiple times at other clinics and every penny of our donations are precious and must use those funds responsibility. We've seen all of the doctors there and have had excellent care and experiences for our furries. We really appreciate Southgate!

Our daughter rescued a tiny kitten on the side of the road. Southgate was able to schedule us quickly and helped us determine its age (5 weeks) sex (female) and cleaned up a cut on her paw removing little pieces of glass. We now have a precious new kitten who’s well on her way to having a healthy safe life. Thank you Southgate for your excellent care for all of our pets.

The staff at Southgate are very helpful and friendly. Recently, they were able to squeeze us in when our dog had an injury from rough housing. They were able to see him as a drop off, completed the procedure, and sent him home in just 2.5 hours with the appropriate medications. The staff took time to interact with our dog(s) before beginning exams, which puts them at ease. Our dogs enjoy going to visit the staff because they know they will get treats when they are there. Very good parking. Nice fake grass area out front that the animals can releive themselves before, or after, their visit. The front desk team moves quickly to check in the pet, and you back out the door. Equipment seems very updated, and facility is very clean and tidy. Everyone here was very kind and patient with me and my dog. We had to put her down and they were very helpful informative and caring. It’s never an easy thing to do but they helped me understand and offered many options to remember her by.
