My baby had to have an emergency surgery due to pyometra, Dr. locklear is hands down the best vet I’ve met thus far, he’s passionate about what he does and he actually cares about your fur babies, we drove all the way from Wilmington and it will always be worth it, Wilmington wanted 5k for this procedure and 1680 here is well worth it, the best, that man is a savior to all and why he stays busy and in business. thank you to the staff and Dr for saving my babies life I love my meatball 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 🥹🥹❤️❤️❤️❤️

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t say enough good things about this veterinary hospital. Dr. Locklear and the entire staff were swift, kind, and incredibly understanding, and they were very clear about what needed to be done. They took excellent care of our fur baby, acted quickly, and performed emergency surgery at a very reasonable price. The entire process was fantastic from start to finish. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else—this team is absolutely worth the drive. Great vet, great staff, and truly compassionate care. Thank you all so much.

Picked my dog up after 5 days of boarding and I immediately noticed she looked weak and the fur on her head was brown and sticking up. (She’s white so it was very noticeable). I jokingly asked my dog “What’s going on with your hair?” and the worker said “She got into poop”. I said, “Wow, ok”….but I was confused because my dog doesn’t play in poop so it had to have been a really wild situation for it to get on TOP of her head. I walked outside to examine her and I can’t begin to describe the shock and anger. She had dried poop in various places all over her body and smelled horrible. I went back inside, visibly upset. The desk attendant agreed they shouldn’t have left her that way and took her back to be cleaned up. They must’ve used baby wipes because she came out a few minutes later stil

One of my dogs had to have an emergency left leg amputation My vet couldn't get us in but called around and found Southeastern Vet. I was nervous and skeptical about bringing Lady there but I wanted her out of pain. This was the best decision. The staff is well organized and friendly. The vet Dr. Locklear is so personable and has an excellent manner. They check in Lady often. I am well pleased

After my vet canceled my bulldogs csection last minute(not even 24 hours) this clinic took my dog. They showed up all weekend to care for her and her high risk pregnancy and didnt financially drain us with an unnecessary emergency visit/bill. They delivered four beautiful english bulldog puppies safely and have called everyday for a week.to follow up on her care! I just moved here from Colorado and have struggled to find a vet to trust with my 5 dogs. I live in Beulaville and will continue to drive the 2 hours to have my babies seen here! My other vet abandoned and left us hanging...this clinic saved the day...and the momma and puppies! I cannot thank you enough...a great vet!!!
