This is truly the best clinic I have ever been to. Every single person who works there is kind, compassionate, and genuinely cares about their patients. They always went above and beyond for my dog, Owin, in every way possible. We’ve been to several vets over the years, but none have shown the same level of warmth, patience, and understanding that this team does. You can tell they truly love what they do. I recently lost my 15-year-old Jack Russell. He grew up with me and was truly like my baby. I always knew he was in the best hands at this clinic, and I am forever grateful for the care they provided him over the years, right up until his final days. If you’re looking for a vet that treats your pet like family, go to South Platte- they’re incredible.

I brought my 10 year old dog in for a first visit to check out an eyelid growth and the staff was so amazing. She has a history of being bad at the vet and neither the techs nor the doc were afraid of her. They got down on the ground with her and went very slowly to gain her trust. The doctor was able to do the entire exam without a muzzle which has never been possible before! They were transparent with pricing and went over everything before doing any services. I thought the prices were very reasonable and they worked with my budget. The staff were so friendly and my dog and I had a great experience.

Seeking out a second opinion for my family’s dog who suffered a laceration on the side of her body, I was given multiple options on how to best approach the issue after her stitches were self removed. The staff I worked with (Drake and Dr. Wood) both provided gentle and diligent care. After taking a small blood/cell sample, they determined no indications of bacterial growth and advised the best route for treatment for the remainder of the wound’s healing process. I was able to leave informed. I do not currently own any pets myself but if I am to, I know I could bring them here with more peace of mind than elsewhere I’ve visited. Honestly, they were ready when I walked in with my pup. Got her into a room in less than five minutes! They were very swift in answering all the questions I had regarding her medical issues. Also they were very patient with explaining pricing, testing and overall every question. Dr.Wood was very kind and my pup loved her! Also Drake was very kind and definitely made sure to explain everything. I now recommend this vet because of the service! Also ALL the staff was kind and efficient in doing everything! Me and my dog appreciate it so much! 10000/10!

We just can't thank Dr. Charlie and staff enough! We carried in our sick dog (German shepard) about 5 months ago and from the moment we came in, the staff was very professional and demonstrated care/concern. Dr. Charlie was so down to earth and great with our dog and us. She also demonstrated compassion and really seemed to care not to mention really good at what she does. She treated us and our fur kid as if we were her first patients. She examed him and took the time to explain to us what was going on and the treatments/changes needed. She put him on a special diet and medication and kept checking up on how he was doing via phone calls.
