South Paws Dog Plantation

The dogs were happy, healthy, and come to life the moment you step foot on the property. They have a few of our rescues fosters and I have only good things to say about the living quarters and people taking care of the pups.

I boarded my dog, Bo, here a handful of times, and he was always excited to go back. The owners made an amazing place for a dog to be a dog, and you can tell they care a lot. I love that there are always people around, my dog gets tons of outdoors time (and space), and he's not spending a lot of time in a crate. Plus, they make scheduling really easy. I have since moved from the area and haven't found boarding half as good of a fit as this yet: SPDP set the bar high!

If you want your dog to play with other dogs all day long, while being loved and cared for well, then South Paws Dog Plantation is the right place! Nate and Liddy have created a dog vacation while you are on vacation or at work (they do doggie daycare too)--my wife and I could not be happier! They have HUGE fully fenced/screened in paddocks for the dogs to run and play in, small group paddocks and dog runs too, lots of trees and grass in the paddocks, and a (heated) barn where the dogs sleep and eat (it is ~30 degrees and when I picked up my dog it was a really nice temp inside). They are knowledgable about dog behavior and can integrate/separate as your dog needs (and they always separate during feedings), Liddy is with the dogs all day and plays/works with them, they have a vet close b

I cannot say enough good things about Nate and Liddy and their set up. They’ve turned a horse farm into a dog’s paradise! Our greyhound loves to run their fenced in pastures, and Nate and Liddy give her all the love and cuddles she demands. I love that they keep us posted with text messages and Instagrams so I never worry. Nate and Liddy truly love these dogs, and will treat them like their own. We’re grateful to have found them.

I cannot say enough about South Paws Plantation and the care our dog received while we were away on vacation! They went above and beyond to make sure she was taken care of and loved on during her stay. We will definitely bring her back!
