I brought my aging yellow lab to the team at South Paw in search of help with his ongoing skin issues. Every staff member was incredibly kind, helpful, and compassionate. I felt like they truly cared about my dog’s well being. They discussed different options to help improve his health and I can see his improvement already. I will be recommending this veterinarian center to anyone looking for compassionate care for their pet.

Absolutely amazing experience at this vet. Both my cats have seen Dr. Bresnahan and I definitely want to keep it that way! you can easily tell he cares about the all pets coming in, no matter if the issue is big or small. Him and his vet tech handled both of my cats beautify (which means a lot to me after a horrible different vet). Prices can definitely get expensive at a vet, but he even cares about saving you a penny if he can. The receptionist definitely also add to the wonderful environment I’ve seen here.

We recently visited South Paw when our pup was experiencing what we suspected was a severe ear infection. We were able to an in person appointment for the following day, and we were pleasantly surprised by how well the visit went. The office and exam rooms are clean, bright, and modern. All staff we interacted with, from the people at the front desk to the vet and her assistants, were kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely concerned about our pup. Everyone took their time ensuring our pup was as comfortable as possible during the visit and that all of our questions were answered. The vet also shared with us resources and information about our pup's food and training, which further confirmed her genuine concern for our pup's overall health and wellbeing. ATTN ALLERGY SUFFERERS !!! The practice says it smells bad in there and they put up air fresheners everywhere to mask it. 1 in the entry between doors which fits maybe 6 people so you get slammed in the face with it. Then, they put 4 more in the small waiting room. I am swelled up every time I go there. I mentioned it and they told me it smells so bad without them. Smell is a sign of dirty spaces. To mask it and not address the cause is unsanitary. Looking into other vet offices. Last straw since they let a technician give my boy a shot and bruised the hell out of his legs saying she had issues. Nobody has ever had issues with him in over 8 years. He balls up around people and doesn't move. Inexperienced help.
