South Des Moines Veterinary Center

So grateful to have this vet clinic on the southside. I’ve seen several different vets for a variety of issues with my dog. Everyone of them has been so caring and patient. They take their time and are willing to answer questions. The vet techs and receptionist are also exceptional. Really impressed with the level of care and compassion.

I've recently moved to the south side and was looking for a new vet that is experienced with exotic animals. I came here for the first time with my 8yr old Netherland dwarf rabbit for eye allergies and to get established with their exotic animal trained vet, Dr Austin. She was very kind and knowledgeable, and gave me some very good helpful information about my bunny's allergies and overall health condition. She made me feel like my bunny and I were in good hands there. I'm so glad I made the decision to give them a try. Very happy with South Des Moines Veterinary Center. i had a fantastic first time experience here the other day. i was able to get an appointment in the same week i called which was great because my pet needed relief asap. everyone from start to finish was super kind and we love good customer service! i was provided with answers, information and medication. and it didn’t cost as much as i was expecting. 10/10 would recommend. also very clean and smelled good!

I’ve been bringing my dog here for maybe four years now for veterinary care and I love so many of the staff members. Ruby is a vet-anxious pup and they are so good with her. I’m so grateful for Dr. Breyer & her team. We have had a few urgent situations the last couple years & they’ve been so great to work with.

The staff is always welcoming and incredibly helpful. I have a number of different animals (and animal species) in my care and I always bring them to the South DM Vet Center. Dr. Austin is amazing!!!
