Animal Medical Clinic

We’ve had a few appointments at Animal Medical Clinic-Merle Hay and have had an excellent experience each time. Our cats’ exams were quick and efficient but also thorough. Dr. Heyer listened to our concerns and was able to provide thoughtful responses/treatments and I can tell she cares just as much about our pets as we do. We have been so pleased with our experiences here and will certainly be continuing care!

If i could give less then a one star I would. Close to $2000 to see whats wrong with our cat. Was pushed to get 2 sets of x-rays, expensive prescription food, several meds, blood work, urine text several times because Dr. Heyer said she was almost positive our cat had stones, at the end of 6 months of trying to figure out whats wrong she told me there is nothing wrong with her, it's behavior issues. When I wouldn't continue with the anti anxiety meds and food, I was told, "then what you see is what you get". And I picked up my cat with absolutely no answers. She is still in pain, peeing wherever and blood in her urine. Absolutely horrible experience with a vet who said she has 18 yrs experience. Don't bother, please find somewhere else!!

They have been awesome with pepper. We adopted her through forever homes so she’s seen them before- They were helpful and so sweet to us!!!

Had a dog grooming appointment set up for Saturday January 27th at noon for Louie my standard size schnauzer with Skyler as she used to work for a different grooming business and does such an amazing job I took Louie to where she's currently at the Animal Clinic and she does an absolute amazing job with Louie. I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER !!!

I have a 14 year old cat that I just took in for dental cleaning and unfortunately a couple tooth extractions. I am not one who trusts easily when it comes to the care of our animals but this clinic and the staff are fantastic. I have been taking my cat here for years and Dr. Heyer is very knowledgeable and upfront and is very informative making a point to call and update during procedures. Kim who is also a great staff member made a point to call and check in on my dude a couple days later to see how he was doing. You can tell the people at this practice genuinely care. Highly recommended.
