South Coast Humane Society Thrift Store

I come down each year around this time, and one of the things I always look forward to is stopping here to shop! Their prices are amazing, and I have found some awesome deals! Things are always neat and clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly! The money they earn goes to something that is very near and dear to my heart, which is animals that are in need! So I know my money is going to a very good cause! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication!

Came inside on a whim, left with dozens of vintage buttons, a couple pristine Nancy Drews, a pocket guide to the trees of the Pacific Coast, and a full 54-piece set of gold-plated flatware in its original box. Turns out everything in store was 50% off so my entire purchase was $28. Can’t beat this thrift store for cost to value! Everything is scrupulously organized, with very reasonable prices (if it seems high, maybe you’re missing something; I felt that the higher priced items were scaled very reasonably based on their age and condition.) It feels like the cheapest antique store I’ve ever been to, which is probably a better comparison than, say, the Goodwill bins.
