South Austin Dog Center

We had such a great experience with SADC! My weenie, Winston, had all sorts of problem areas. To be honest, I was worried that there was no one that could help us- I have been proven wrong! We did the Peace of Mind program and it’s done wonders for both Winston and myself. Now I know how to keep up with training at home and reinforce what we’ve already learned/been working on. If I had another dog, I’d trust Erika, Lynette, and the SADC team all over again. It’s been great as a dog owner to feel like I have support when things feel chaotic with a new rescue pup. Thanks, SADC!

We're so grateful for SADC! Our leash-reactive dog Fish attended their Day School and it was incredibly helpful. Not only did we see improvement, but also learned a lot of tools to continue implementing at home. Both Erica and Lynette are incredibly patient and kind, both to us and Fish in our journey with Fish's behavior. We've already signed up for multiple alumni classes, and plan to continue to work with them in the future!

SADC has been such a wonderful, stable training destination for our rescue Pitbull Maple. We struggled to find experienced trainers that were patient and understanding of her needs. She came to us with dog reactivity and no baseline leash or out-in-the-world skills. She started with their intensive weekday training and then graduated to one day a week. She loves it there and we are equally grateful for getting all of us to a place of being able to understand and manage her emotions and behaviors. Thank you Erica and Lynette!

Once upon a time, a sweet prince was left abandoned in the country. A dog rescue found him and then I became his human. Unfortunately, sweet prince was very anxious from the terrible treatment he got from his evil former humans. Then I met Erica and Lynette from South Austin Dog Center. They worked with my sweet prince to help him settle and learn to trust and love humans again. I am so very grateful to them-- my sweet Odie has come a long way from the sad, scared dog to now. He still reacts some but golly, so much less than before! He plays with other dogs, he has stopped barking majorly at new humans (although he still freaks out at bicycles but much less than before). I am just so grateful to them for not only helping him but for helping me learn to be a better human for my Odi

SADC is the best! They are experienced, patient, and deeply passionate about helping dogs and their people live better together. My reactive dog did her initial program and has gone back for 2 alumni programs and multiple alumni group classes. So glad we found them!
