Traction K9 Kennels

We were incredibly nervous about boarding our dog for the first time, as he had never been away from us at a facility before. However, Mara and Ashley at Traction K9 were absolutely wonderful and put our minds completely at ease. ​They were super accommodating and made sure our pup was safe and happy throughout his stay. We loved that they were so proactive—contacting us with any questions or concerns and sending plenty of photos and videos so we could see how he was doing. That constant communication made us feel sure he was in great hands. We can’t thank them enough for looking after him so well!

Traction K9 Kennels truly fills such an important need in the dog community. I absolutely love that they specialize in boarding dogs who are anxious or reactive. As a Husky mom to a dog who fits that description, it gave me so much comfort knowing Panda would be in a place that understands dogs like him. When we needed to board him for five nights, Traction K9 Kennels stood out because of their phenomenal reviews and the incredible reputation they’ve built. Overall, I’m pleased that my husky was in a safe and healthy environment, and I genuinely admire what they’ve created for dogs who need a little extra understanding. That said, I do want to share a couple pieces of feedback. We arrived right on time for drop-off but ended up waiting about 45 minutes in the car because no one was avail

They communicated well with me when I had questions and was anxious about leaving Latto for the first time. Latto looks like she enjoyed herself. When I picked her up she was hanging out outside on the patio which I thought was a really cool feature they offer! Although I thought was a little out of my budget, it was a last minute booking and I do get that it was a holiday. I’m glad she was taken care of while I was gone.

I give Ashley and Traction K9 Kennels a 10! I was extremely worried about boarding my reactive aggressive Great Pyrenees, whom only loves and respects me. Ashley was so kind, patient, knowledgeable when I dropped off Marty. While on a vacation of a lifetime to Bahamas, I received report cards, pictures of Marty. Ashley also responded to my texts, questions during Marty's stay. I have future vacations planned and Marty Matthew McConaughey, will definitely be staying at Traction K9 Kennel. Thank you so very much!!!!!!

Safety is my number one concern and I’m always so anxious about leaving town with my dog in a kennel, but at traction K9 I was able to feel relaxed the entire time I was gone knowing there was a behavioral specialist on site and that the standard practice for care at this facility is no contact!! I also appreciated the photos that were taken, and my dog was clean and happy when I picked him up!! I would highly recommend boarding your dog here especially if they have behavior issues.
