Soapy Dog

This is by far one of the most disappointing grooming experiences we've had with our dog. She's a small miniature shitzu with relatively short hair. Before handing over my dog I had shown photos and examples of what we would like for her haircut to look like. I had explained keeping her somewhat long but obviously removing whatever knots she may have. I had also expressed wanting her fact to be cut very rounded. I had shown pictures and examples of what I would like. When I had gone to pick her up almost 2 hours later she looked nothing like I asked. She looked like a completely different dog and not in a good way. In shock I had paid and brought her home for further inspection. Not only did they not do as I had asked, they had completely cut her down too much. If I could give this experie

I showed up here on a Sunday afternoon with my muddy and hyper 75lbs dog without an appointment… really just hoping for a hose and a towel. We found so much more. Great value, excellent service and a place to return to. Believe everything you read about this place… It’s really that good.

I have taken Bailey, Cavalier, King Charles age 8 to the Soapy dog since we have had her . I have taken my other dogs while they were alive there also so total doing business with them is about 40 years If you’re looking for all the bells and whistles paying extra money for the cookie at the end don’t go. The shop is exactly what it should be . A plus for me is when you walk in you can see the dogs in the cubicles not hidden in a cage behind a closed door I personally liked that, the dogs are not left alone. The groomers are pleasant and greeted Bailey even before me . We went over what was needed and they had some great input . She is long haired and had knots . I preferred she get cut down for the summer rather than torture her trying to get the perfect look she is not a show dog

The people who work here are unprofessional and should not be working with animals. We tried twice and terrible experiences both times. They couldn’t even complete the grooming the second time while other places could groom our puppy. Our puppy was traumatized here. Will never be returning!

Cannot recommend them enough!! Best dog groomer in MA! We recently moved from Weymouth to Nashville, TN and literally make sure to book an apt for our mini goldendoodle to get groomed every time we come home. They’re very reasonably priced and do an amazing job, grooming doodles isn’t easy and we’ve experienced other dog groomers just shaving him down completely because they were too lazy to take care of his hair, but the soapy dog pays such close attention to details and perfects his cut everytime!!
