Smoochie Pooch

When our normal groomer left, we searched a few places to have our 2 Chows groomed. We did not have very good luck and people were either scared of them or the grooming location itself was sub-par and I didn’t have a good feeling or could sense the dogs didn’t feel comfortable either. As soon as we walked into Smoochie Pooch, Alexa greeted us with a huge smile and immediately started loving on the dogs as if they were her own, not even acting cautiously. I loved how comfortable she was and the dogs were comfortable too. We now come back on schedule every other month for a grooming and the dogs look forward to going, not hesitant like other places. I’m so glad we found Alexa and Destany to care for our pups. We always get compliments on how well groomed they are and we always recommend Alex

I brought my 5 month old puppy to Mikayla, and he loved her! I could tell when I walked in he was in good hands, he even said goodbye to the other ladies as he was walking out! It warmed my heart he felt so comfortable and I will definitely be back to Mikayla. His groom is perfect.

Mikayla was our groomer, and we had such a good experience! when i picked my dog up, he looked great, and he seemed so happy. There were two women working, and they couldn’t stop complementing him and petting him. You could tell that he was really well loved during his grooming session. Also, I don’t think I ever heard any barking while I was there. I could hear a groomer in the other room making a sweet fuss over the dog she was working on, and telling that dog that she wished she could just take her home because she was such a pretty girl. It made me smile. we will return for more grooming at smoochie pooch!

NEVER GO HERE. My dog has been going here for a year, his first groom was last August. His first groomer Sydney was AMAZING, he loved her, and he came back from his grooming appointments with her looking fantastic. Photo #1 below is from his first groom with Sydney August 2023. Unfortunately Sydney quit, and when she quit we were reassigned to another groomer. This groomer had him on a 6 week rotation and saw him multiple times, she always seemed uncomfortable with him even from day one when he walked in the door. His last groom with her was 7/23 just over 30 days ago. When my husband went to pick him up, he was notified that Bishop’s grooming service wasn’t completed so we were getting a minor discount. He got off the table and rather than putting him back on the table, she walked away

So thankful I found this dog grooming salon! Michaela (I hope that’s spelled correctly…) does a great job on my Boomer! You can tell she has experience with Australian shepherds. He’s always a happy guy when I go to pick him up.
