Smoky's Spay & Neuter Clinic

I'm providing at least 2 stars because the staff members I interacted with were nice enough. The low rating really comes down to the fact that they refused to send our puppy home with any pain meds post-spay because THEY thought she was only 4 months old. We've had her for nearly 4 months and we weren't even able to bring her home until she was at least 8 weeks, so she is definitely over 4 months (she was born in July 2025). But, nope, the staff was convinced that she was only 4 months old so they wouldn't send her home with any pain meds after her spay. They didn't even call to confirm her birthdate or anything; they just made the assumption and treated their WRONG assumption as truth. I had to call her usual vet and have them prescribe pain meds (which we then paid for out of pocket) b

Friendly staff, just an FYI for folks who's SPCA adoption agency doesn't provide a lot of info for dropping your pet off her (like mine), cats are 7:30 to 8:00am and dogs start at 8:00 am. I adopted a dog and my agency told me drop offs start at 7:30, so in spite of being one of the first ones there I waited outside over 45 minutes while they took in all the cats.

Wonderful team of staff. Dedicated, good communication and very reasonable.

Top rate care, employees kind n considerate .. will use this clinic again. You can see they truely care and are trying to do good things to help with the pet overpopulation. Thank you Shilling for the great service and taking good care of my 3 panthers

I'm back 5+ years later to absolutely praise Smokys staff and volunteers!! They truly made a miracle happen!!!! The same cat I brought here 5+ years ago- was lost to me Sept 2021, this last Sunday I got an email HE WAS FOUND! He just made it home safely in Cincinnati OH this evening thanks to this amazing staff and their absolute Angel of a volunteer, Judy, and my wonderful husband! You guys freaking ROCK!! Judy and Alex will forever mean the world to us! They called me the day before to remind me of the appointment and to not give him food after midnight, got there and drop off was simple and took about 10 minutes. Pickup took alittle longer, they were very clear in my cats after care and more than friendly!
