Slate Run Kennels

You won't find better dog boarding for a better price. They are honest and actually care about the animals and there customers. Not fair but AMAZING prices won't take my dogs anywhere else

Very good with my husky, we were out of the country for 5 days. The lady has the best setup for big or small animals I recommend.

What a wonderful alternative to the usual fancy chain kennels or "free play" boarding places we have used in the past. Our dogs normally seem stressed in other environments but came home super happy from here. We had such a great entrance interview with the owner who asked a lot of questions that addressed our dogs individual needs. When we came to pick them up, the person helping us (missed her name, sorry) was also very considerate, genuine, and professional. All in all, would highly recommend Slate Run for boarding needs. A big thank you to all the staff there.

I’m so thankful to have found Slate Run! My dog struggles being separated from me. However, she RUNS in the door here. She comes back so happy. It’s such peace of mind knowing she’s well taken care of while I’m not able to be there.

A true gem. Finding a kennel that has a run versus a home-type kennel was hard enough. But my two dogs and two cats have no issues with this location. My last kennel, All Tails R Waggin', my dogs came home and wouldn't eat for several days and my one became fearful of men. When I called asking if something happened they said nothing. When I would go pick them up, they couldn't wait to leave, almost clawing out of the doors. But at Slate Run Kennels, my dogs weren't not anxious at all when they left, it was amazing. And my cats seemed completely content with everything too. Jennifer was able to fulfill my crazy requests of having my dogs stay in kennels across from each other, so they could see one another, and let them go outside together so they could play for a bit.
