Dr. Nguyen and her team are the best! This veterinary practice is reasonably priced, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Our dog has aggression issues towards other dogs, and they are very accommodating of us. I’m so glad we found this vet and I appreciate that it doesn’t feel like a money grab (like the larger vet chains feel), rather they genuinely care for the health of our dog! We recently got our 90lbs dog’s dental cleaning and it was an amazing experience!

My dog recently had several teeth removed and required post-surgery medication. We were given no explanation about the medication he would be receiving (other than the frequency and to give it with food). When we asked if the medication was safe to take with his already prescribed medication we were simply told "yes". Over the course of this week my dog has gotten progressively worse. He has been puking and began shivering just as he had before having his teeth pulled. Upon doing my own research, I discovered that the medication he was given should NEVER be administered at the same time as the medication he takes for arthritis. This was conveniently left out of the explanation or simple response we were given. All this place sees is red and dollar signs. Extremely irresponsible... My dog

I brought our boxer, Bella, in for her annual visit, and once again we had such a great experience. The entire staff truly loves animals, and it shows in the way they care for each pet that walks through the door. Bella can get a little anxious at the vet, but they welcomed her so warmly and made her feel so comfortable. They were patient, gentle, and took their time with her, which really helped ease her nerves!

This is by far the best vet I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. My dog ended up getting heartworm because the prior vet (Forever Vets) didn't allow me to order Simparico Trio from Chewy.com, because they want to upcharge me, and there was a lapse in her preventative treatment. Forever Vets then wanted $3500 for heartworm treatment, while SJB Animal Care Center did the treatment for less than 1/3 of that cost, and they had no issue letting me get my prescriptions through Chewy.com for the best price out there. SJB Animal Care Center had the best pricing and service of everywhere I inquired about or have done business with. They are by far the best veterinary service in Jacksonville.

The absolute best animal facility ever. We brought our senior cat in for a quality of life check due to her not acting normal. The staff and Dr. Nguyen was compassionate and very caring when our baby had to cross the 🌈 bridge. The one and only vet I will trust my fur babies with.
