I reached out to John when my puppy was 4 months old and I realized I was in way over my head. He responded within a few hours and had me on his schedule within a few days. From the moment Shadow and I walked into training I felt a sense of relief that I had made the right decision. Within the hour we had a game plan on how to move forward with basic training and John and Ariel made me feel empowered that I was able to handle my strong willed puppy. Fast forward and we have excelled at basic and advanced training. I now have a dog that settles in my home and can run around outside off leash with nearly perfect recall. I’ve taken my dog Ben to John for obedience and scent training. John is very good at what he does and he’s extremely reliable. It’s amazing how sometimes the slightest change in your training can make a huge difference in your dog. I’m constantly recommending Sjabo whenever someone presents the opportunity for me to. We brought our then 5 month old Malinois rescue to John nearly 2 years ago. We tried 2 other training services before finding SJABO. We were not satisfied with either. John at SJABO has given us the techniques to teach Ajax manners as well as gain control and respect from Ajax. John’s patience when we struggled with training is impressive. If you listen, learn, ask questions, and practice what he teaches, you and your dog will succeed. I am able to recall Ajax from over a 100 yards away and even from chasing deer- all without the use of the e-collar, simply by voice command. We are so glad we found John and SJABO Dog Training!

You will be in the best hands with Sjabo Dog Training LLC . My wife and i bought a rescue puppy who was homeless and abandoned, was afraid of literally everything and had no obedience. Within a couple of weeks of training, you would have never thought this dog was afraid of people, and now we can have him off leash and he listens to me and my wife and comes right back to us when we call him! I cant express how happy I am with the training that my dog has had.
