We had an excellent experience with Sit Means Sit Dog Training, and our expectations were truly exceeded. Our dog is a very large 10 month rescue. We enrolled him in Board and Train for about a week. The trainers worked closely with our dog and gave us the tools and confidence we needed for a fun and manageable dog. We are incredibly happy with his progress and overall training. He now walks off leash, can be around other people and animals with minimal reactions, and listens reliably to his recall. I've always wanted a dog that I could trust to be off leash. The difference in his behavior and our ability to communicate with him has been amazing. Our only ongoing challenge is his separation anxiety. Just wanted to let everyone know, how AMAZING this group is! Our Kat (Katerina) is a 70 lbs golden retriever that when she sees something she goes full throttle. At first, I was a little apprehensive about leaving her for a full week. My visions of the ASPCA commercial were playing in the back of my head. But when we arrived, Chris, Ryan (our trainer), and Bill were eagerly awaiting our arrival. I voiced my concerns; they gave me a tour of the kennel - none of the dogs were crying or barking. All were well behaved. It didn't smell like a kennel, it had A/C. When they stay overnight, your suppose to pack their food in individual servings. Our German Shepherd, Sophie just returned from her board and train at the HB facility. From our initial meeting with Todd, to her drop off for boarding, this has been such a positive experience. The entire staff we interacted with was exceptional, and as promised, we regularly received very cool videos of Sophie’s progress. She came home in a great mood, ate and played a bit which tells me she was well cared while learning with SIT MEANS SIT. If you are looking for a training program, this is absolutely the place to be! My pup participated in the 10 day boarding program. Sit means sit was super communicative all the way through, sending photos and updates multiple times a week. The drop off training day felt a little rushed and learning the nuances of the training collar has been tricky, but our follow up training with Daniel had been great! We still have a few lessons left (and we are grateful! The pup is better at listening but by no means fully trained yet) The training overall has been impressive, but definitely is a process that isn’t fully complete yet. We will keep working!

I’ve used a company with a similar training program but Sit means Sit is exceptional in follow-up between sessions. Daniel is our trainer and has been very supportive. Our daughter was over and noticed that our dog was less reactive, more calm and confident. Love the training at the facility snd can’t wait to extend the training in a real life park experience.
