I adopted my dog Molly(extremely cute and lovely) from this center in May. As a first-time dog owner, I had a lot to learn, but the staff were incredibly kind and explained everything clearly. The center also provided essential supplies like a bed, leash, collar, dog food, and toys, which were a huge help in getting Molly settled into her new home. One of the staff members, Monica, knew Molly very well and gave me detailed information about her personality and habits, which really helped me make the decision to adopt her. I’m truly grateful to the center and all the staff for helping me meet Molly and welcoming her into my life.

I recently adopted at this location and I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a new friend! The facility is clean, organized, and the staff was definitely friendly/helpful. I can tell they take care of the animal’s well-being and health. They provide you with documentation of vet care and pets are microchipped. The adoption process was straightforward and they had a summer promotion which I thought was fun! I am so glad to have found my kitty Callie here 💙

The staff and the animals are the best. My favorite breed is rescued! We adopted our dog here a few years ago and my whole family has been volunteering here ever since. I cannot say enough good things about SVACA, their staff and their adoptable animals!

This is a great animal shelter to look for your next pet. The staff are very nice and the facility is very organized. They have plenty of cats and dogs to choose from.

This place is the worst place to adopt an animal. The shelter workers did not disclose important information about the adoptable animals. We adopted a dog from them yesterday, and only after we brought him home they called us to inform us that the dog had blood in his urine. They made us come back to pick up antibiotics. Within less than 24 hours, the dog urinated more than 40 times inside our home, even though we were taking him outside every 3 hours. Our male dog immediately began marking the same spots after seeing this, and he became aggressive toward the new dog, forcing us to separate them. When we tried keeping the new dog in a crate for more than five minutes, he cried and barked extremely loudly. Even when we stayed in the room with him and closed the door to keep our male dog o
