Honestly, I have never had better vet experiences than with this specific team at Shop City VCA. Dr. Danboise has THE bedside manner that you want for your dog. Our pup is skittish with strangers when she first meets someone new and Dr. Danboise is clearly insanely well trained in how to handle that. By the end of the appointment, our dog Roo was climbing all over her to give kisses. I love how much she focused on Roo. After all, she’s a doctor for HER, not for US. She is so insanely knowledgeable and took her time to explain and answer every single (even ridiculous) question that we asked. All of the receptionist staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. We have also had Brianna as the Vet Tech every time and she is absolutely lovely and so sweet to Roo. If I could give every star in the solar system to this vet office, I would. From the first hello, I was met with such kindness. Our story… We got a puppy from some people who clearly had no business having a pet snail let alone dogs. We got him Sunday April 27th, and took him for vaccines April 28th. Routine vaccines turned into fleas, conjunctivitis, tapeworm and Giardia. Fast forward to May 2nd, the lady texts me and sends an image of a positive parvo infection in multiple dogs in puppies. An immediate call to the vet, and about a hundred more calls to them after that, Missy calmed my nerves and shared in my upset as if she was Bubbas owner too. This woman changed the trajectory for my whole day with her amazing personality. Off to the vet that afternoon for a SNAP test. We waited

The doctors and techs here are skilled and compassionate. They diagnosed my cat's hyperthyroid and also discovered the link between hip arthritis and UTI. My cat was doing better than ever in under a month of treatment. I will always be thankful to them for improving her quality of life.

Everyone there was wonderful to our very anxious Golden Girl. Dr. Danboise has an awesome "bedside manner," wonderful calming presence. Thank you Shop City Animal Hospital!

I had a wonderful experience here. My cat was just there to get her nails clipped (which they did seemingly without much of an issue at all). The clipping with the new patient exam (mandatory exam for new cats) was $88 dollars. With the new patient package, I also got a free dose of flea treatment (Revolution) and they applied it to her which was nice. I ended up buying another 6 doses. And as pictured, they immediately gave her a blanket that had a pheromone on it that I hear cats as used to at birth which helped calm her down significantly. My cat seemed to not have the most traumatic time which is what I was afraid of. She seemed fine though. Overall, I’d say the visit was very pleasant. I think I spent roughly 45 mins here.
