Cannot say enough about how much coming to our home allowed my boy to be as comfortable as possible and giving us the time and privacy to say goodbye to our best friend.. They offered his footprint on river rock and I still look at it everyday, such a beautiful piece to remember him by. I will always recommend this to anyone who needs this for their fur baby.. you are angels for helping families through this tough transition. God bless ❤️
Our 16.5 year puppy who had been with us through the good, bad, and ugly faded quickly one weekend. He stopped eating and we knew it was time to make the decision to let him go. Stillwater Vet made this process as peaceful and compassionate as you can. We used their comfort center to let our little guy go. From the time we walked in we didn't feel rushed and knew we were in good hands. We were able to hold him as we let him go. We had the space to grieve and tell him good bye. Letting your pet go is the hardest decision you can make for them. But Stillwater handled this with care and compassion. I'm incredibly grateful to them, and when she told me she was going to take really good care of our little guy, I knew she meant it and he would be handled with love and care after we left. Thank y
Our sweet 14yr old Ivy had to suddenly be put down this week. We have not had her for more than 6 months but it felt like she has always been with us. The decision to let her go was a painful but necessary due to the sudden, fast acting decline in her health. We gave her 6 months full of love, comfort, and new experiences. I am so happy we chose to take her to Stillwaters. The amount of compassion and care every person gives is unbelievable. The woman I spoke to on the phone to schedule the appointment was so gentle as she spoke. Dr. Otis gave me an immense amount of comfort that I was making the best choice for Ivy and Marissa who did the euthanasia couldn’t have done a better job. I didn’t think I could laugh during a time like that but she made me laugh and smile a couple times. She mad
When it comes time to say goodbye to your fur babies it’s never an easy process. Our handsome Sammy was in the end stages of kidney failure and we had to make the difficult decision to end his suffering. I made the phone call on a Wednesday for an appointment for Friday. Everyone I spoke with here was amazing from making the appointment to checking in the morning of to Jaylynn who actually came to our home. If you ever have the choice, absolutely use them. It’s an agonizing life event to have to endure but they made it that much easier to have Sammy fall asleep peacefully with his favorite blanket and pillow surrounded by his whole family who loves him endlessly. I appreciate the care you put into what you do. Thank you so much.
my 15 year old kitty got suddenly and very unexpectedly sick. Dr. Stack referred me to Stillwater for at home euthanasia. the whole process was very smooth, everyone was very compassionate. i got as much time as i wanted with my baby girl and i know i did the right thing for her. she’s been my best friend since i was 8 years old, i’m so glad her ending was peaceful and in my arms at home. keep your brother company up there! till we meet again 🕊️
