1st thing 1st sign in your pet, you will the earlier the better. You can then leave, and go back to the comfort of your home. They call you ahead, and giving 45 minutes to get back to the clinic. My only complaint was I was told 3 different times how many ahead of me, but more people were called instead of me. When I finally got called back, the reason for our visit was an abdominal ultrasound, but I that doctor had left. So the main issue is if I was called back when I was told would that doctor had still been there. Since he was gone I had to leave my cat overnight, make arrangements to pick her up when they gave me the call. The plus side the doctor who discussed my options was very informative, and I thorough. She has suggested a lymphoma blood test also. I wasn't charged for her stayi

My poor baby was throwing up, blood in stool, was feeling awful. Was very worried I had a wait but it was worth the care. With in hours she was eating a holding food down. The cost was a fraction of the emergency vet. I'm very thankful. My sweet girl is already feeling better. I can't thank you guys enough.

The waiting time is out absolutely crazy, BUT, service it is Great Overall, saying that, worth the waiting! Plus overall cost is pretty convenient vs. other Animal Hospitals!

My cat was attacked by a pack of 4 dogs. I rushed him there. He died that night but the staff did all they could. They stayed by him and gave him every bit of care and love that they could. I TRULY APPRECIATE their efforts.

Shively Animal Hospital does great when you can get in to see a vet. The wait time is ridiculous. You go there. Sign in. And you either wait for hours in the over crowded waiting room or in your vehicle..or you can leave. Go home and wait for a call from the hospital letting you know your turn to be seen will be coming up and then drive back to the hospital. Again. They're great staff. But it can and often is an all day wait..literally.
