Shenandoah Animal Hospital

I've been taking my pets here for 20 or so years. It's locally owned, by the 2nd generation (and I think the 3rd generation is in line!) The entire staff truly cares about their clients, the 4 legged and those of us who pay for them 😉 What I most appreciate is that they actually *listen* to the humans, and look at animal care as a collaborative effort between the vet clinic and the pet's humans. We have one cat 🐈 who is 20 years old,and still doing great thanks in no small part to Doc E and her loving care.

Dr. Sarah Fletcher is fantastic. She is very thorough, knowledgeable, and sincerely kind. We trust her fully with the care of our two dogs. The vet techs are also always incredibly sweet and gentle. Prices here are extremely reasonable.

Exceptional care for both my cat (with two different types of cancer) and our old family dog. Staff is respectful all around. Thank you!

Do not recommend . Went there in 2025 to see if something was obstructing my cats bowel so they decided to do a X-ray. Then when they came back they said they don’t see anything so we thought everything was ok. realizing she wasn’t getting better we decided to take her to another vet and they did an x ray and said that there was something wrapped around her intestines and now a blood transfusion and surgery

I had Dr.Sarah Fletcher for our grand dog Sammy when he was very sick. He had lots of blood in his stool. She is one of the most caring sweetest people I have ever met and had the knowledge to treat him. He was on his way to full recovery in no time. Thank You Sarah for all the help you were to Sammy and I on that scary day.
