Shelbyville Animal Hospital

I don't even know where to start. They deserve more than 5 stars. There isnt a single person in this office that isnt top notch friendly. They actually care about their "patients". From the beginning... for years I have taken my babies to a vet in Christiana but when my 16 (14 at the time) year old chihuahua developed a knot that caused swelling in his eye that office was extremely rude and told me that they didnt have an opening for 2 weeks. Well that wasn't going to work bc he was in pain. My mom lives in shelbyville and Shelbyville Animal Hospital is where she takes her baby and raves about them, I decided to give them a try. I took him as soon as they opened up, we didnt have an appointment but they worked us in and they discovered that Diego (my baby) had an abscessed tooth but Dr. A

We love the folks at Shelbyville Animal Hospital. They are caring and knowledgeable and never try to sell you on things you don't need. We have taken our pets in to them for fifteen years and will highly recommend them for your go-to veterinary! August 02, 2024

We just moved here from Laverne and they have already treated three dogs & a cat for us. Great vet. Great veterinarians.

The staff and doctors are the best at Shelbyville Animal Hospital. They take excellent care of my new born and senior animals. One year ago I thought I had to put my cat Maxwell down but the doctors gave him some medicine and care treatments and he is back to his old grumpy self. They really put Animal health first. 10 stars

My 9 week old puppy had eaten a stone and was having SERIOUS issues ! Dr Anderson got my puppy in immediately and the whole staff worked together on the process from x rays to care for a perfect outcome. I can not thank them enough or recommend SAH enough . If you are considering a veterinarian this is your place !
