Shawme Animal Hospital

This hospital is clean, accommodating and truly designed for pet owners. Christine greeted us at the front desk and made us feel welcomed. Both the vet tech and the vet were personable and helpful attending to our needs and offering referrals when needed. I actually can’t wait for our next appointment.

I absolutely LOVE every single person we’ve met that works at this hospital! Every time we walk in there they treat my baby Georgie like their own. One of the girls showed me a picture of Georgie from when he was a kitten that she still had, and said she was looking at it the other day and I just about melted on the spot!! How sweet is that!! On top of that, Dr Abby and Brayden are the absolute sweetest!!! They always make me feel comfortable and I trust that they will take care of my baby like he’s their own! I’m so extremely happy we found this hospital as we have had terrible luck in the past. Thank you to every single person that works there!!! ❤️❤️❤️ highly recommend to anyone in the area (or not in the area, worth it to travel here)!!

I’ve had 2 dogs over 20 years who have been cared for thru Shawme—for preventative and routine health coverage. In that time we’ve faced challenges, too. Though vets and staff have changed I’ve felt my pups (and I!) were well cared for. Thanks Shawme

Doctor Abby Henneman is AMAZING! She was very supportive, and knowledgeable and took time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. The assistant was also very sweet, and worked diligently along side the Dr. I was comforted by the confidence, professionalism and compassion this team showed me and mostly showed to my cat, Caesar. Most importantly, he seemed to trust them as well - and to my amazement allowed them to handle and treat his needs with no resistance whatsoever... Their calm and caring demeanor put him at ease despite the great deal of physical discomfort he was in. I will most definitely be returning for all future veterinary needs of both of my cats. I am very grateful to have found a team of compassionate people I can trust for all future veterinary needs.

Wonderful personable staff at Shawme. I highly recommend this caring and helpful veterinarian office. So glad I went there with my dog. She's on the mend now. What a relief!
