Oceanside Animal Hospital

I’m super picky when it comes to where I take my dogs and Oceanside is the BEST!!!! Every single person on their staff is phenomenal. All the veterinarians are so kind and helpful, but we’ll give Dr. Esmond a special shoutout because she handles my reactive German Shepherd better than anyone we’ve ever seen. Last year we had to put down our senior dog without much time to plan and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in a devastating moment. I’ve never felt rushed through an appointment or pushed to do anything. I will forever love the whole staff!

5 stars is not enough. My 15 year old golden has been in distress and we met Stephanie and her staff yesterday during an urgent care appointment. They are kind, compassionate and professional. Having had pets for 40 years, hands down the best appointment and staff we have ever been to Our new vet for sure.

We have been coming here since they first opened, and we have always received amazing care for our pups. Dr. Sarah Murray has been absolutely amazing with our newest addition—so kind, patient, and thorough. The entire team makes every visit comfortable and easy, and you can truly feel how much they care about the animals and their families. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful veterinary practice!

So far, I am impressed and happy with Oceanside Animal Hospital. Oceanside was recommended to me by a family member who really likes them. I had a previous vet that was OK. I was annoyed at having to visit a 24-hour clinic for my older dog. But, when they couldn't see my new-to-me 12-week old puppy because they had no available appointments for a few months, AND I again had to visit a 24-hour clinic for an immediate issue with her, that forced me to find a new veterinarian. Enter Oceanside Animal Hospital. Every time I call, whoever answers the telephone is pleasant and not short. They happily made an appointment for my puppy, and saw her within a couple weeks! I am thoroughly impressed with Ocean Side. I mean what an experience! First of all, I was just a basket case over my cat being sick (especially after just loosing 3 of my 15 to 20 year old cats down in the same 6 to 9 months time). My normal vet, Leach Animal Hospital recommended Ocean Side to me. They put me right at ease from the start getting us in within 2 hours time. Right away I noticed how clean and well set up this facility is! They were so kind and caring with both me and Angel (my kitty cat). The doctor was gentle and thorough, continuously talking to Angel putting Angel at ease as well. A wonderful exam followed by blood work and X-rays.
