Shallotte Veterinary Hospital

We just moved to the area. A new groomer suggested Dr Ben. I called the day his new practice opened. I have a Shiloh Shepherd who is the love of my life and he is almost 11 years old. Last year, he was misdiagnosed at an A Ct emergency hospital and almost died. I did everything to save him and get him better. So it was important to feel comfortable with a new Vet. Dr. Ben and his tech Lilly were absolutely wonderful. He just called to give me good blood results for my dear Sascha. So I highly recommend the Shallotte Veterinary Hospital… very nice, clean and staff is extremely welcoming.

I love Dr. Ben from his previous practice. I think my pets were in his care for 3 years there. I was happy to hear he opened a new practice a little closer to home. Everyone was wonderful at the old practice, so I'm sure they will be as great at the new one when my cats and I have our appointment in March. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Ben. He helped figure out my older cat's allergy issues (with allergy testing), so her skin issue has cleared up entirely. He is gentle with the cats and knowledgeable. I appreciate how patient he is with me and my worrisome nature when it comes to my cats and he is not judgmental in the slightest. The front staff was friendly during the appointment process and when we came in we were greeted quickly. The assistant (tech) who was in the room setting us up asked us questions to prepare us for our visit and was very thorough.Dr Ben came in greeted us and sat on the floor with our big dogs. He did a head to tail exam and asked us if we had any questions. My husband and I are very happy that we found a vet that cares about our pets . He told us he would call the next day with the bloodwork results and did. Thank you !

My kitty was feeling really upset, and they managed to fit me in quickly. It turned out to be diabetes, but thanks to the accurate diagnosis, medication, and clear instructions, my kitty is now doing so much better. Dr. Ben and the staff are absolutely wonderful! I can't say enough positive things about them. If I could, I would happily give more than 5 stars!
