Shady Paws Pet Retreat

Tammy has been pet sitting in our home for years, and our dog has always LOVED her (and so do we). This was my first time boarding at her new facility, Shady Paws, and it was no surprise that she exceeded expectations in every aspect. After some bad experiences at other kennels, Shady Paws was a breath of fresh air. The facility is extremely clean (with absolutely zero "dog kennel" smell!), it's boutique sized so your dog won't be fighting for attention at a packed facility, and Tammy is amazingly attentive to the dogs all day. Her customer service is also fantastic. She sent frequent photo updates of my dog with his new friends, and when my travel plans were delayed and I couldn't pick up my boy until 10pm, she was very accommodating and ensured me it was no problem! We used shady paws retreat last week for our puppy during our daughter’s graduation and dinner. Tammy was very nice in answering my questions and was flexible with drop off/ pickup time! She even sent a few pics of Charlie while he was there. He ate his dinner there and no change in his behavior after we picked him up. Would definitely use again if we are in the area and need to board!

This is the second time we have boarded our fur baby with Shady Paws, he always does great there. During Easter this year we were taking a trip to visit family, Shady Paws was booked so we had to choose another place, it was not a great experience for him. We are so grateful for the love and care he gets at Shady Paws, we really do not ever want him to stay anywhere else. The amount of love and attention they give your fur babies is outstanding! We first time boarded here for our big puppy, Bruce. He had a wonderful time, and she was amazing and attentive with him. She also gave me updates and pictures daily, which, with this being the first time, I appreciated greatly. Will definitely be using her for all of our boarding needs in the future!

We recently had our senior pomeranian stay with Tammy at Shady Paws while we were out of town. I was really worried to leave him because of his age and disabilities, but those worries were quickly gone as I saw how incredible Tammy and her care was. She was so attentive to his needs, and kept me updated. Her care and love to what she does is evident, and I am so happy that I found her.
