Shady Acres Pet Ranch

My little lady LOVES shady acres!! We started her in dayschool which was the perfect ease into socialization that was needed, and then she was able to go to daycare, and she LEAPS out of the car when we arrive. Every time we put her in daycare she is passed out in the evening. The staff is so warm and friendly too. And bonus they post pics of the dogs on Instagram which I’m obsessed with lol. Just overall a great experience.

By far the best boarder we have found in Austin. After experiencing a few bad boarders, we found Shady Acres and haven’t looked back in over 3 years. Staff is always friendly and caring. Never have any fears about our dogs safety or happiness while we are gone. I definitely would, and have, recommend Shady Acres to anyone looking for a new boarder.

We love Shady Acres. Over the last 7 years, we’ve taken our dogs there for both daycare and boarding. We really like the fact that there is plenty of room for the dogs to run and play. The dogs come home tired and happy. We highly recommend Shady Acres!

2016 - 2018: We average a week several times a year. They love it. Also, and this so adorable, they give you a report card. I love that and I send it to my friends and family. They also have grooming. I have them bathe my dogs on the last day. The staff is very friendly and are genuinely interested in the dogs. They don’t have a lot of turn over, so when we drop them off our dogs recognize the staff. I feel totally secure about their well-being and happiness. 2018 - 2021: Sadly one of our dogs, Bear, got hit by a car and passed away. Riley took it really hard. About a week later we traveled and left Riley with them. I felt terrible about it, but they sent me photos of him having fun. I very much appreciated their thoughtfulness. I’ve taken my 9-year-old Australian Shepherd to Shady Acres when I go out of town for a few months now. They’re attentive and take good care of him. I appreciate the camera views and he always comes home tired but happy. Would recommend!
