I recommend Scott Macdonald for dog trainer. We were ready to send back Oden to the breeder or rescue. Oden was very anxious and we were not dog trainers. Scott has the ability to establish a connection with our 10 week old Wheaten Terrier puppy that we were not able to. We are grateful that Scott took care of our puppy and gave him the confidence. Oden was trained and boarded for about 2.5 weeks with Scott. Oden is now 6 years old and a very happy dog. Happy dog means happy family!

Our experience with Mr Macdonald was not great. When I first spoke to him I let him know the issues we were having with our dog, asked if he could help us. He sounded great over the phone and sounded like he had a lot of experience. I felt comfortable with my decision to hire this man. He lives far and I was totally fine with this because he definitely sounded very qualified and professional. The only red flag was that when we had our phone consultation, he stated we (my husband & I) could pay half of the fee before I dropped off, and then the other half at the time of pick up. When he called to confirm that I was indeed hiring him he stated that he needed the payment in full?! Ok, he sounded qualified so I really was a little confused but happy to pay in full. Had an appointment at 11am confirmed by e mail the day prior. He never showed up. We called him at 1115. No answer, no call back. Just flaked out. Weak. Lame. Flaky.
