Scenthound Lansdowne

When you first walk into this grooming facility, the front lobby is very clean and welcoming. They have a wall filled with pictures, words, and brochures explaining different parts of a dog’s body, which is very informational and helpful. It shows that they truly care about your dog’s health. They also have a wall full of great products you can buy. At the end of your dog’s service, they even give you a report score on how your dog’s body is doing, which I really appreciated. I brought my two mini doodles here and had a great experience. I have a female Mini Aussie Doodle and a female Mini Bernedoodle, and both came out looking amazing. They got their nails trimmed, their glands expressed, a haircut, and plaque reduction, and my younger dog, the Mini Aussie Doodle, actually stopped booty

Great experience bringing my dog in for a bath! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. My pup came back clean, happy, and smelling great. We’ll definitely be back!

DO not go here. First incident, I paid for “gland expressing”, but when I took my dog to the vet the same day, they said his glands were full…so I paid for something they didn’t actually do. Second incident, they clipped my dogs nails too short and when I called asking for more information/what happened they were completely unapologetic. I tried calling back to see what to do to stop the bleeding and they didn’t pick up any of my follow up calls. I never leave bad reviews, but I don’t want anyone else having to deal with the same experiences I have had to deal with.

Bea, my Pom mix , often has trouble trusting groomers, except a few. Since we moved, we tried Scent Hound. It all clicked. Bea is happy and she looks great.

My dog came out looking worse than when she went in. She had hair falling out all day after her bath. My sisters recommended Scenthound. They both go to the Centreville location and love it. This Landsdowne location is NOT good.
