Save Our Cats and Kittens (SOCKS)

My daughter had a cat themed birthday party for her sixth in February. Socks was amazing and brought several kitties for the kids to learn about and play with during the party. We ended up keeping Aberdeen (who we renamed Valentine for his “gotcha-day”. The SOCKS team was amazing and we love having our new addition to the family

The volunteers here are pleasant and very helpful. They do the best they can but they're definitely outnumbered by the kittens and cats. We went to visit to look for an adult/senior cat. We fell in love with Gumdrop but since she has diabetes, we didn't think it would have been responsible of us to adopt her since we're new to having a cat and our schedule can be demanding at times. In terms of cleanliness, the facility is well maintained, again despite the amount of cats and kittens they're housing. Even the bathroom is decently maintained. When you first walk through the door, the smell of cat food can be overwhelming, but at least it didn't smell like kitty litter! Staff was kind and very helpful. They gave us our cats history of how she came to them. They gave us a printout of her medical/vaccine history and they name of the vet that treated her. We've had Miss Pearl since 12/26/24, the pictures show the success of finding a forever home.

Great cat rescue. I have adopted from here as well as foster! This place is ran by some amazing women who work their asses off to help these sweet kitties that cant help themselves. #adoptdobtshop

Horrible experience! We are the most loving pet owners and have the best home for a new kitty! This place showed us nothing but rudeness after a disgruntled vet opposed our adoption due to their own money mongering schemes. Won’t use that vet again or this adoption agency. If y’all want to pass so much judgement why don’t you do home inspections of new applications and also the foster’s. We will have a kitty to spoil and love and they won’t be from y’all unfortunately:(
