Bluewater Zoo Exotic Aquariums & Reptiles

Omg this is hands down the best aquatics/reptile store I've ever been to. Came 1hr 30min from Alabama and was not disappointed. All the tanks were beautifully kept, fish were happy, and they even were feeding them blanched vegetables. Prices were totally reasonable and the staff were knowledgeable and attentive but not overly pushy. Definitely worth a visit.

My husband and I come here every week to buy a live mouse for our snake. Recently we created two micro fish tanks and got all our shrimp, snails, and micro guppies & tetras. Staff very knowledgeable, helpful, and the whole of store is clean. We love this place!

Yall…. I WAS SO IMPRESSED. I am a jumping spider fanatic and have SUPER low expectations of pet stores when it comes to how they care for their jumpers. EVERY Petsmart, petco, and pet supplies plus, I’ve ever been in have had them just absolutely starving, gravid(pregnant)/both, or the humidity is just so high you can’t even see through the fog. First of all, they had such an amazing amount of different species. Second, THEY ALL LOOKED SO GOOD. The employees were so nice and helpful and were taking such good care of them I could have cried lol I asked about them getting mamas in and they said they take them off the shelves. THANK THE LORD. Our experience with Miguel was extremely disappointing. His attitude was unprofessional, dismissive, and completely lacking in customer service. As a technician — and someone presented as a manager — his behavior was unacceptable. The advice he gave us about our fish tank was inaccurate and has now put our setup at risk of failing. We trusted his expertise, especially as new residents in the area, and that trust was clearly misplaced. Because of this experience, we will not be returning to this store. I go here pretty often for all my reef keeping needs, and they are always helpful. I had a question about an ailing coral today and got some good suggestions on next steps. Beautiful fish, coral, and lots of dry goods.
