When I put an application in, it said I would get a response within 1-2 business days. I spoke to someone the following day and everything was good. They asked for some documentation, which I was willing to provide. I called back as I had a few more questions and the lady I spoke with was rude on the phone. Me being at work, I sent a message asking for an update on my application as it had been a week and still heard nothing. I finally got a call at the very end of the day and again the staff member was rude and short. I was told my application was denied over another adult in the home who had domesticcharges dismissed 3 years ago, and nothing since. When I asked why, she rudely said because that leads to animal abuse. Excuse me? Both myself and this other person have both owned multiple a

I think it's important to share my experience because there are several bad reviews of this place that I saw which made me a little nervous. However, I'm glad I went in with an open mind because my experience was nothing but positive. First of all, it was very clean. I saw a few reviews saying it was dirty and smelled bad, but that's not the case. Any time you have multiple animals living in one place, there will be a smell. But there is a difference between that and a dirty facility. Secondly, the adoption process was thorough... as it should be. Those complaining about the process being too strict are not ready for the responsibility of caring for an animal. A goal of a shelter is to do everything in their power to make sure these animals get good homes and don't end up back at the she

I can say this place does such a good job taking care of every single animal. They try to find them a forever home. When you visit them you can see how busy they are. I really appreciate the effort. You guys change my life, one month ago I took Mika (Serenety) with me. I've been really busy with her :). She has changed a lot. I can say she is a really happy dog. Thanks for all your work.

I brought up a boatload of cats to get spayed/neutered, and they took great care of them. It was easy to schedule, and easy to make sure their vaccines were up to date. The cats complained the whole ride there and back and would give the whole experience one star. However, they have no opposable thumbs and can’t leave reviews.

PLEASE DO NOT SURRENDER ANIMALS HERE!!! For the love of God please heed my warning, because I did not heed others. Adopt whatever animals you can from here, but please do not surrender unless you want that animal to be euthanized. I took in a beautiful sweet, gentle and living stray 6 MONTH OLD KITTEN here who they killed only 7 days later. NOT for health concerns, but because she was "too feral" and had scratched people. This cat had been staying in my home for a month and I had worked for at least 3 months building trust. My husband does not like cats and despite my efforts was made clear keeping her was not an option. I called every rescue within 30 mins, none could take her. She had went to the bathroom in the house and that was my husband's last straw. I did not want to take her to
