So, it was once again time for my Sadie-Girl's yearly wellness exam and shots. And once again, I could not be happier with the superb service I received at Sandalfoot Animal Clinic. Dr Watnick is always helpful and caring and spends the time to be thorough. We have been coming here for years and there aren't many like him left in the business who really care about the animals. We feel very fortunate that he has been taking care of our dogs over the years.

Took my cockatiel there today with a blood feather. The examiner, without giving anything for the pain he’s about to induce, stated pulling at and snipping her feather. It took about 9 tries of him yanking at my poor bird and her screaming out in pain, until the feather was removed. No examination was done, he just started pulling at her already sore feather. My husband immediately asked for pain medicine for her (meloxicam) and they told him to just give her half of an adult aspirin. That much aspirin for a small bird is extremely dangerous and deadly. We asked again for the meloxicam prescription, and they said they would call us in an hour, it is the end of the day and we received no notification whatsoever. Now my poor bird is in immense pain, she’s refusing to eat, and now we know we
