Salisbury Animal Hospital PA

My pets are long time patients at South Rowan Animal Hospital and we have always been thrilled with the care and service they have shown my fur babies. We recently inherited a new dog from a relative that passed away. She needed a haircut and a bath but the South Rowan site was booked out for months and referred us to Salisbury. We specifically requested a Schnauzer cut since she is a mix with that breed included. The body and beard I wanted shorter to help her stay cleaner. They did reach out after we left to say that she would need to be anesthetized since she was not cooperating. I agreed since I was not familiar with how she would react with the grooming and it needed to be done. The pictures show the result of this "cut". The staff & doctor were all amazing! They took very good care of my pup. The doctor did a very great job with the ear crop. She was very upfront with me about the ears looking different due to how my pups ears were not even. She sent me updates to let me know he was ok. His ears healed up very nicely & I would definitely recommend for anyone looks to get there pups ear cropped. Enzo sends all of y'all a big thanks!

So happy I found this place. It's walking only (no appointment) and I've never waited over 15 minutes. Most of the time they take us straight back. The vets and all the staff are super nice and they are affordable compared to other veterinarian offices I've been to. My Sadie gets great care and I don't break the bank making sure she is healthy.

My cat had a bad wound on his lower back, it was leaking pink puss and I felt so terrible for the little guy. I bought him a cone and made plans to come to the walk in clinic today, Monday. The wait time was less than half an hour. The receptionists and nurses were polite and so kind. She let my four year old girlie pet her personal dog who stayed in a windowed room while she worked. Didn’t push me to get the extra vaccines that weren’t required for this visit, she understood I couldn’t afford it right now, only the necessary ones because I wanted him to have the rabies vaccine. The doctor and nurses were amazing with him. They helped put him at ease and did everything gently and efficiently. We heard them saying "YOU SHOULDN'T GET A PUPPY IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT." -about our very sick, possibly dying puppy. I KNOW it could have just been a bad day but I WILL NEVER TRUST my pets life on an office with people that callus and horrible. When it was brought it up to the vet: he apologized and that that employee should HAVE KEPT HER MOUTH CLOSED. That was it. Context below: Honestly if I could do zero Stars I would. I'm really just doing one star so I can expose some things. I had a family member bring her puppy to the vet. There are lots of times when no compassion was shown. I understand the world runs around money but to basically tell a person that they can let her puppy die or come up with "$700 same day is a little crazy and then the rest when you pick up".
