Safe Haven Grooming & Boarding

Safe Haven is a great kennel and grooming service in the Tyler area. The dogs are not kept in cages as are dogs in other kennels and there are not but a few dogs at one time which makes the attention for your dog great. Tamara the owner of the place will send text and pics of your dog while you are gone and show you just how happy your pooch is there. I had my lab mix Skittles groomed also and Tamara did a great job there as well. I give it 5 stars.

I am very pleased with this business the owner is very kind and seems to truly care about my pet. She went above and beyond and told me about the equipment that she uses and had great visuals for length of hair and what clippers to use. Tamara recalled all of my requests and listened to the needs for my dog. I 💯 recommend her business.

Great place to leave our dog when we go out of town. Lots of land to run around on with other friendly dogs and not have to worry about him being in a crate most of the time (in fact I don't think they ever use crates). Owners are sweet and caring and do a great job not only with boarding but with grooming as well.

Maui is a 9 year old Pomeranian who has allergies and gets hot spots on her skin that make her miserable! TAMARA took such care to groom her down so I could deal with things easier. She is not only more comfortable now but looks so sweet! I couldn't be happier. Tamara also treated her little spots with medication which was so thoughtful. She is our groomer now as long as she is in business and we have pets!

I can not say enough good about Tamara at Safe Haven. My Shih Tzu that i inherited from my mom was horribly overgrown. My daughter had to try and groom her, it was such mess that we had to let it grow out. Tamara took her time.. cleaned up the matts, expressed the anal glande.. all at such a reasonable price. She is a gentle soul and was so patient educating me on the breed. I feel i have found a friend.
