Wish I could give 0 stars. The animals looked unwell. In enclosures with no enrichment. All the animals but the snakes and the fish looked sick, underfed, or neglected. Staff and floor manager was also very rude. This was my first time at this store in Topeka and it really disgusted me.

Always go here for my fish food bearded dragon food and all other animal needs. Great service, and the owner is kind friendly and very informative about all your animal needs and questions. Got my Oscar and gold fish there and they are thriving. Just went here today picked up hornworm superworms crickets and pigs ears for my dog my bearded dragon is looking awesome and is a healthy big man.

I was really happy with my overall experience here. We went in Saturday afternoon for my daughter’s bday gift to get a corn snake. We had checked out Petsmart and Petco and the prices were either too high or they had very limited stock in. We ended up here and choosing a little striped corn snake for an agreeable price. Long story short… later that evening we checked on the little guy in his tank and he had passed away. I was worried taking him back the next day because many live animal sales are no refunds/no exchanges.. these things sometimes happen. I took the deceased guy back and the owner immediately and without hesitation let me choose any replacement snake I wanted, really no questions asked. By far the best selection of freshwater tropical fish around Kansas. The tanks always look great and the fish are healthy. Buster is knowledgeable and answers all questions. Also wanted to note the WIDE variety of guppies! Plenty of supplies and enclosures for reptiles, amphibians, and rodents as well. Awesome shop!
