RXM: Eleventh Hour Rescue Adoption Center at the Roxbury Mall

We recently adopted the most perfect boy from Eleventh Hour and we could not have been happier with our experience. It is incredibly heartwarming to see the dedication of the volunteers. They are knowledgeable on each of their dogs and will match you with the perfect fit for your family. The adoption process was simple and I felt supported throughout the entire process. I appreciated the time they allowed us to spend with our dog in the meet and greet area. I did not feel rushed or pressured at all into making a decision. A big thank you to Eleventh Hour - you guys are amazing!!

After adopting rescue dogs for over 40 years, I didn't think getting another would be difficult. Our beloved dog passed 3 days after the new year and my 15 year old chihuahua was lonely. I applied to at least 5 rescues/animal shelters with No Replies. I came across Eleventh Hour Rescue on social media and applied for a dog. They processed and approved my application quickly but the dog we wanted wasn't yet available. My daughter and I decided to bring my chihuahua to one of their Saturday adoption events to meet some dogs. We weren't sure what type of dog would be a good match so it was a perfect way to test different dog energies. We adopted our new pup from Eleventh Hour Rescue and were really pleased with the adoption process. Ashley (formerly Nala) was one of nine dogs brought back from a shelter in Florida following hurricane Milton. The online application process as well as the reference verification was done swiftly and we received notification within two days that we had been approved. Within two weeks we had our new doggie and she has settled in well with our family. She is a mini lab mix, so just wish we had been given more direction on how to handle a “hunting” dog since my husband and I had never had one before. Eleventh Hour rescue hands down should get at least 100 stars! I can’t imagine who could possibly rate them any less. We have adopted twice over the past 12 years and couldn’t be more grateful for their hard work and dedication. They are kind, really ask the right questions and do the most fantastic job matching the animals they rescue with their forever homes. The application process, communication and follow up during our first application and again 12 years later after losing our beloved Adrienne to blood cancer was quick, thorough, and professional. Wonderful experience adopting my new puppy from them. They are professional and make sure you are going to be a good dog parent. The process of adoption is pretty simple though meet the dog do some paper work, pay your donation fee, and off you are with your new friend. They are also there for anything you need from training help, vet needs, or just any general question. They are also there God forbid you happen to lose your pet they will come and help track and trap the animal humanly. Just overall a great experience and I now have my companion for a long time.
