Nelson is absolutely spectacular at what he does! He is very knowledgeable not only about grooming but about dogs in general. Kasha always comes back smelling amazing. Her coat is always shining after he grooms her and she is always perfectly trimmed. You can tell the care he gives her and I absolutely love that!!! Nelson, as always…….job well done!!!

Store is dirty! Shelves are always bare! Can never find anyone to assist me. This store is like a ghost town. The main reason I'm giving them 1 star is because I bought a large bag of Nature's Balance Fat Dog Food. As soon as I opened the bag it was infested with egg larvae. Threw out the bag but had my receipt. I was advised they can't return without bringing back the food that must contain 50% of the food. Called the manufacturer, they offered to refund my money with proof of receipt. I will no longer be shopping at this location from herein.

We took our 5-month-old kitten for his second round of vaccines at Petco in Succasunna, NJ. His first vaccination experience elsewhere was perfect, with no stress and even blood tests done without any issues. This time, however, our appointment was scheduled for 1:10 pm and we were seen late because the staff member had not arrived, while a long line of clients waited. The staff member who assisted us spoke in a rough, dismissive manner, which felt unprofessional. When it was time for the vaccinations, our kitten reacted to the pain, which is normal, but the veterinarian appeared to panic. The assistant restrained him by the neck and also by his tail, causing him to cry so loudly that it could be heard throughout the entire store. I love this petco. My first time visiting and it's by far the best petco I have been to. The place is clean, animals are well taken care of. The staff/employees are very friendly and knowledgeable and are ready to answer all of your questions or concerns. This petco also has a huge collection for dog toys and clothes of all sizes which was hard for me to find elsewhere. And this petco had it all!! I would recommend for anyone that owns a pet to come here for their needs!

I took my very senior dog to the grooming dept today. From the moment I made the online appointment, the customer service was beyond excellent. I got numerous texts as reminders of my appointment. When we arrived, we were greeted by two young women who were so professional and pleasant. (I neglected to get their names), but I'm sure you can figure out who was scheduled today (wed., 9/24 at 2:30pm) I have been in retail management my whole life and I feel it is very important to get praise and accolades when it is deserved. I am very grateful and appreciative of the service I was provided today. I will recommend this location to everyone I can. Thank you Petco!
