Russell's K9 Academy

Earlier this year we took a chance using Russell's K9 after finding a dog that was tied to a tree and left behind the year prior. Her name is Sunny, and unfortunately seems to have a background/history that was not in her favor which resulted in multiple behavior issues including agression towards men and control. We are glad we took that chance. Mr. Russell cares about these dogs at a deep level, and is up front and realistic. If you are looking for an easy fix, and not willing to work with your animal this is not the trainer for you and he will be direct and upfront about that. We can’t Thank Albert with Russell’s K9 Academy in Daytona Beach, FL enough. We sent our one-year-old Doberman Zeus to train with him from the end of June though the end of September while we were on holiday and WOW what a transformation. He went from a playful pup who was nearly impossible to recall when chasing after, cats, squirrels and pretty much any animal, car or person to an amazing dog who follows a vast number of commands. One of the greatest is Halt. He can stop on a dime with that and sits patiently waiting for his next command. One of the other things we are now able to enjoy is taking him on long walks, even in busy areas he follows commands and when you tell him Nope, he doesn’t even look at the other animals. Doberman/Boxer mix, Lea, recently completed Russell K9 Academy’s Boot Camp and E-collar training, and we cannot thank Albert Russell enough for the wonderful care and training he provided Lea and us. We took my daughters pit Artemus to Albert from Russell k9 Academy. He is a 2 year old pup with a lot of energy and very strong I couldn’t control him. Due to his breed my daughter decided to train him as a service dog. He stayed in boot camp for 10 weeks. With visits from us weekly. It’s amazing to watch the progression. Artemus is a different dog he listens to commands now and is well behaved. Of course he’s a puppy so we have our moments when he try’s us but we can snap him out of it pretty quickly. Albert is amazing he has a true passion and love for training dogs and it shines through. We definitely recommend 👍

Our boy just graduated from Russell’s K-9 Academy and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Albert provided us with private, in-home training sessions that worked for our schedules.
