My dog was diagnosed with a partial tear in both knees. He was scheduled for a TPLO (ACL surgery) at my primary Veterinary Clinic two weeks out. When we woke up the next morning and he was in so much pain and he could barely stand or walk without support. There was no way we could wait any longer. I called Royal Vista and ask if they had an orthopedic surgeon and they told me “yes, we have two in today”. I told the receptionist about my dog’s condition ask she was very compassionate. I asked if it would be possible to have the surgery done today. She asked if I could make it there by 10, so off we went. When we arrived they greeted us and we waited a very short time before they took us to an exam room. Once in there, we spoke with one person that was collecting information on our dog and t

This used to be a friendly and reliable emergency vet. I stopped early this morning because my dog had rapid breathing and cough. I waited for 30 minutes and then the nurse came in and said it would be another 20 or 30 to wait for the shift change. I understand being busy though there wasn't amyone waiting and i didnt see any of the other rooms in use. It was also disappointing to hear a decent amount of people in the back chatting and laughing. I found another vet office (non emergency) that would see her on short notice. I imagine I saved a decent amount of money and they clearly cared a bit more about my dogs well-being. Edited to add: she had aspiration pneumonia and the regular vet sent us to CSU. She ended up spending two nights there and was borderline in sepsis by the time

The most compassionate group I have worked with. My boy (dog) was really sick and kept forming new symptoms. They never gave up on him with a poor prognosis. They saved my boy and I am so thankful for the heart and hard work they put in for him. I have also had to put a dog down a couple years and again the most compassionate and honest team.

Thank you for taking care of Tychus. I'm sorry the news of his passing was relayed in such a way, and that my heightened emotions had me quick to assume things that weren't the case in the end. I appreciate you all for doing everything you could for my sweet boy.

In July of last year, I noticed my cat was losing weight rapidly, vomiting frequently, was lethargic, and showing little interest in food and water. His blood work showed he had extremely high liver values, and after trying steroids, at home IV treatments and oral medication, his values continued to worsen so I was referred to Royal Vista in November to try to narrow down the cause. Doctor Deatherage is amazing. She is thorough, listens patiently, and really worked hard to narrow down the root cause of my cat’s illness. As he started improving his primary vet recommended I remove some of the medications he was on (without consultation with Doctor Deatherage) which spiked his liver values again. I went back to Doctor Deatherage who figured out what the problem was, put him back on an appr
