Rosehill Veterinary Hospital

Like other clients, we have also been going to Rosehill Vet Clinic since the days of Dr. Place and Nurse Sheila. Since then, and as of the beginning of August 2025, the front staff has changed. Brian and the other young lady, whom I believe is Dr. Geer’s niece, are friendly and very helpful. If you need assistance of any kind entering the building - call and ask for it. Next, Dr.Geer -amazing. There is no other vet I recommend. I was even going to Dr. Harkins at Gahanna hospital at the same time. They both have great empathy for your pet and care. But Geer has that something extra. I just wished they were open at least 5 days a week-even if it is a half-day on Friday. We took our dog here for several years and always had great service with ear infections she would get and would have recommended this vet to anyone. Unfortunately over this summer this service went downhill when she developed seizures in June. In June, my 14 year old dog had two seizures. When we followed up with Rosehill after seeing Medvet and Medvet having put her on anti seizure medication, Rosehill vet convinced us to run bloodwork to see what else could be happening. I was told we would recieve a call the following week on a Monday. I had to follow up a week after the results were in as I didnt hear anything. I was informed the vet had looked at the results and since nothing looked concerning, it slipped their mind when forgetting to call me and apologized. Then at the beginning of

To my disappointment this facility seems to have some employees who really are not pet friendly and do not even ATTEMPT to assist the elderly who come in with their pet. They see you having a difficult time handling your dog and don’t even offer to help. The Vet made a recommendation for treatment preparation without even examining my dog. They have an off site groomer who only cares for smaller pets, they had an examination table that did not work and could not be lowered so my dog could be examined. Instead they had me to try and look at the paw she was having problems with from my chair, before they finally lifted her up on the table. Very caring and thorough vets who clearly love all the pets they see. They cared for my senior cat while he was with us, and even though he had to receive end-of-life care at a different facility, they sent me a sympathy card filled with sweet, personal messages from the staff. Now, I'm taking my two new cats for care here. I feel very assured and supported in this clinic's care.

My puppy needed to be seen right away and they took us in right away and was very informative and nice. Prices are fair. The only issues Id say that bothered me is that the lobby was empty when we arrived and there was A TON of other dogs hair all over the place. There was maybe 3-4 workers behind desk and no one cleaning the lobby. My puppy was sniffing the floor and had another dogs big ball of hair all over her face. It was gross. Also, they had a dog behind the desk and it was making my puppy hyper and nervous. Other than that, they were very nice and I felt they love animals. Only other thing I thought was ridiculous that they charge your card before your visit for the appointment just incase you dont show up. Never heard of that before. It was alright tho. Id go there again.
