Rockwall Urgent Vet

We had to bring our 12-week old puppy to be treated for an infection that developed after receiving his vaccines. Our family could not have been more thankful for the tentative staff, Jeanie, Karma, and Dr. Byrd. They took prompt and considerate care as you’d hope for in an urgent clinic. After helping understand the steps for a diagnosis, they discussed costs, concerns, and treatment recommendations to get our little guy back on track. During our time in the waiting room, we saw so many emergencies and I am truly blown away by the teams ability to operate as smoothly as they do. If your in the position to bring your pet to urgent care, I’d recommend these wonderful people again and again!

Took my miniature dachshund storm here on 10/25/25 for the first time. I had no idea what was wrong with his eye and panicked. When I got there I was greeted by Kelsey and she assured me they would take good care of my boy and they did . The staff was amazing there and , they explained everything to me clearly. Storm got everything he needed and I got answers . we have a week of recovery, medications and a cone that he hates wearing. I also want to say thank you to Kelsey for keeping my mind occupied while they took care of storm as my anxiety was on high alert as he’s my baby . I appreciated it . I really recommend this place if your vet is closed and need an emergency visit.

Could not have been a better experience. Visited their office late one evening with our elderly and failing cat. Spoiled and spicy, he had become frail and obviously in discomfort. The staff evaluated him and carefully provided their opinion and guided us through the end stage procedures. Although heart broken, our pet was treated with love and compassion. We held him until he gently went to sleep. We are forever grateful to the entire staff of young women and will return when we add another pet to the family. Their after care and correspondence was sensitive and beyond expectation. Thank you to al of you.

We brought in our golden retriever after noticing severe bloating in his abdomen-they acted quickly and took x-rays right away. He was diagnosed with GVD (life threatening condition) and they got him into surgery quickly-the fast actions by the vet staff saved our sweet boys life. The communication during his stay and after his release has been excellent. Our family could tell they truly care! Forever thankful we made the quick decision to take him here, and blessed we still have our golden in our lives.

I got home from work, saw that Lizzy was crying which wasn’t normal. I felt her neck was swollen. And by the time I had gotten to the vet it had gone down. They still diagnosed my baby correctly and presented the correct meds and dosage. Everyone there had a great attitude despite what was going on. (euthanasia) I take all my animals here. If you’re skeptical and looking for a safe and pleasant experience this would be the place. Price wise it’s not insane! Thanks for showing up each time rockwall urgent vet team.
