Our 4 year old Golden Retriever Winston Woke up with a droopy eye with his 3rd Eyelid appearing one day and after weeks of steroids and antibiotics our Regular Vet couldn’t come up with a reason or a cure so they referred us to RVEC. We were unsure how our Appointment with RVEC would go but were pleasantly surprised on how welcomed we felt and thorough Winston’s exam went. Dr. VerHulst and her 2 assistants were very gentle and loving to Winston while covering every area to make a diagnosis. She explained clearly all our options for the Horners Syndrome diagnosis. We can now rest easy having put a name to this mystery and would highly recommend RVEC for any eye issues. To be honest I was a little worried on what the cost would be since I do not have pet insurance and this was a specialist

Rochester Veterinarian Eye Care gave my Sophie the best eye exam ever! They explained everything, gave us a treatment plan and they were incredibly thorough. Professional and friendly! Eye care is their specialty! Highly recommend!

I could not rate my experience high enough with Dr VerHulst and her staff! They took such great care of our Cairn Terrier Sophie. When our vet recognized Sophie’s eye condition was getting worse from poking it with a bush, she recommended RVEC and thankfully they squeezed her in the next. I was impressed with how they swiftly got Sophie’s ulcerated cornea under control which an aggressive plan of eye drops and medications doing everything we could to avoid surgery yet keep Sophie’s condition managed safely. After a couple of weeks of visits, meds, and the dreaded cone Sophie’s eye healed beautifully, no surgery required. Thank you Dr V!
