Roaring Fork Veterinary Surgery

My dog had TPLO surgery with Dr. Imhoff. Everything went really well. He was the closest board certified orthopedic surgeon to me - 2 hours away. The traveling was worth it. My dog is now back to normal life getting to do the things she loves.

Dr Imhoff was very impressive as he operated on our 12yo Giant Schnauzer to fix his ACL and Meniscus! At 5 weeks he’s walking and swimming with no pain. Amazing process and outcome! Can’t thank you and the staff enough for the Best Service and outcome. Best decision we ever made.

The care and treatment our pup received were absolutely superb. Dr. Darren is an exceptional veterinary orthopedic surgeon—his skill, knowledge, and compassion shine through in every step of the process. Our timid little girl, who is usually very hesitant with strangers, went straight to him without hesitation, which speaks volumes about the trust and comfort he inspires. Thanks to his expertise, she’s already surprisingly mobile and healing so well. The communication throughout has been clear, thorough, and reassuring, giving us complete confidence in her recovery plan. We are beyond grateful for the outstanding level of care Dr. Darren and his team provided, and we would highly recommend him to anyone in need of specialized veterinary orthopedic care.

Made a bad situation better! My dog, Murph tore his right CCL in October 2024 and our vet recommended Roaring Fork Veterinary Surgery. He had his TPLO surgery and recovery went great. Unfortunately, he tore his left CCL only 6 months later. They were able to get us in for surgery the next morning and recovery was even better (we are basically pros at this point). A few months out and he is better than ever! Dr. Imhoff and his team were awesome. They were all very kind, knowledgeable and I would recommend them to anyone!

Our dog has (had🙏🏼) aggressive mast cell cancer. She had 2 surgeries in Nov/Dec by our regular vet to remove the hind leg tumor. It came back with a vengeance. We were faced with amputation, which our vet could not do. Dr. Imhoff and team are amazing! They are skilled, kind, and honest with options. Casey had the hind leg amputation and was walking on 3 legs the next day ( see picture ❤️). Which I attribute to a successful surgery! I wish we had found Dr Imhoff and team sooner. They are amazing. We are grateful!
