I am so incredibly impressed with Dr. Julia, Neva, and Dirk. My dog was very sick and needed emergency surgery on Wednesday. Dr. Julia and Neva were so kind and caring and also just so on top of things. I could feel that my dog was in good hands. They saved her life. I had never been to Carbondale Animal Hospital before and now can’t imagine taking my dog anywhere but Dr. Julia. I really cant say enough good things. Thank you so much for everything!

I am writing this review to share my recent experience at Carbondale Animal Hospital. While the front desk and nursing staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, the clinical experiences with the veterinarian left much to be desired. My dog had been very ill, and I expected a thorough, proactive approach to diagnosis and treatment. Unfortunately, Dr. Ben's attitude felt lackadaisical and dismissive. I felt there was a significant lack of expertise necessary to manage a complex or serious case. I left each vet visit feeling unheard and and unsupported. I cannot recommend this practice for anything beyond routine wellness visits if you are looking for a vet who provides attentive, expert medical care.

I had a last minute need to see a vet with my cat for a UTI. The people were so so nice to get me in, and they couldnt have been more helpful. Dr julie is amazing. Was very reasonably priced too. I am so thankful!!!

I've been so incredibly happy with CAH. Dr. Ben and his staff offer plans for your pet that are mindful of your needs and wallet. They make your animal's treatment plan easy to understand and answer all of your questions thoroughly. The facilities are always clean and the staff are friendly and professional.

Just had a wonderful experience with Dr. Bonnie. Syd gave me an awful scare this morning when I realized he couldn't pee, thinking it was a Urinary Block which is fairly common for male cats, and can pretty deadly if it's not caught quick enough. They let me bring him in as soon as I could. Turns out, it is some sort of UTI and we've got him on some kitty drugs and antibiotics to take care of it. The staff was so kind and offered me great advice and kindness. So happy my kitty is okay, and so happy to find a wonderful vet out here in the meowtains. <3
