We were in Hatteras the weekend after Thanksgiving when my dog decided to eat an entire bag of grapes. Knowing that grapes are toxic to dogs in even small amounts I got on the phone & called every vet in the area. This one was the only vet that called back. We immediately took him in & thanks to Dr. Grossman's quick response he was able to give Odin life saving treatment. Dr. Grossman & staff truly care about pets & their owners. The price was also reasonable especially considering it was after hrs on a holiday weekend. Thank you much for saving my sweet Odin, we are forever grateful!!! ☺️

This vet being open on weekends and having walk in appointments has saved me more than once. They are always very professional and understanding, you can tell they truly care about the animals which is something that I haven’t always noticed other places unfortunately. I have had to pay 200 or more just for my bunnies to get looked at at other exotic vets, but their prices are fair and reasonable. They are a great vet and I would recommend them to others!

Had to bring my little guy here to be put down after collapsing on a walk. He did a quick xray to see what was going on and found tumors around his lungs making him struggle to breathe among other things that happen in a 15 year old dog. Vet was top notch, very friendly and talked me through the whole process. Appreciate the being personable and up front with the sad event.

I cannot express the quality of care they provided and fact they saved me from likely a surgery had I taken our dog to a location around my hometown. Our 5 year old dog was very close to going into kidney failure from swallowing too much sand. She was vomiting with non-stop diarrhea. She was confused and in pain. They flushed her system, gave her liquids she needed and within a day she was back to her typical self. It was so terrifying and I cannot thank them enough for saving her life. I will warn anyone who is a walk-in - expect it to be busy in the mornings. They have a lot of scheduled procedures at that time. I will say, even being a walk-in, we got into the vet about 1-1 1/2 hours after we got there. Pricing was very reasonable, thankfully!!!!

The first day in Hatteras to see family, we are down from Ohio, our good boy Zeus broke his femur in a accident on a dock. We called them on Sunday afternoon and they said come on in. Terrific staff, excellent care and service. They got Zeus in for surgery within 48 hrs and got him all fixed up. Going to go pick him up today. Recommend them with our highest regards!!!
