Riverside Animal Hospital

I have been taking my dog, Finley, to Riverside Animal Hospital since he was a puppy. This vet has been great. Easy to reach and always accessible.

Updated a day later, they post generic messages as feedback. They didn’t even have the audacity to address me by my name in the response, but rather as [Name]. If I could I would leave negative stars. It has been four years since my Guinea pig passed. Today, I received a happy birthday message for him. The audacity of this place. This enraged me and make think about his passing. In 2022, I decided to transfer his care to this establishment due to his prior vet retiring and selling his practice. He was perfectly healthy, until I brought him in for a routine annual checkup. From what I can remember, they gave him an injection after he started freaking out to the doctor’s aggressive handling of him during his temperature checkup. After that visit, he was never the same. I brought my baby goat in for an exam and a diagnosis, the staff was amazing over the phone and in person, within 5 minutes of being there Dr Gilmore was in the room with us, they were careful with the baby goat and had answer to every question. This is genuinely the only vet I’ve ever been to that felt like they cared about the animals more than just getting paid, beyond happy with my experience, will definitely be my go to vet from now on, thank you Dr Gilmore and staff! You can truly tell when people love the pets they care for by how they treat the families of said pets. Our cats are more than just animals; they are a part of our family. It’s our first time as cat parents and we were very concerned by some very normal things, and all of our concerns were met with kindness, reassurance, and genuine care. It was honestly an amazing experience. I feel like we’re not alone as we navigate care for our two little babies. Thank you so much to the amazing staff :)

Dr. Gilmore and staff are very kind and dedicated. I feel a high level of trust in their care. Appointments have been easy, and thorough with follow-up contact. I also really appreciate how they manage my dog Frankie who is a gem but is also a nervous wreck at the vet.
