Riversbend Animal Hospital

We have a puppy that had an injury and we took him to another vet for emergency evaluation, and they recommended amputation of back leg. When trying to schedule surgery through Michigan surgical center in Flint said to take him to Riversbend in Big Rapids...they took one look at him,said he was young enough and believed this break would heal, and it did! He is now 3 years old NO issues and is strong as his brother! We drive over and hours to take our dogs to Riversbend and love all the staff. The care so much about even strangers (which we were) and we recommended them to everyone!

They have always taken good care of our boxers. Riley is 15 and 1/2 years old which is extremely good for a boxer. The staff and vets are always very friendly and knowledgeable. We appreciate everything they have done for our babies. We are so thankful to have them to go to.

Riversbend has been an incredible clinic for our dogs over the years. We live out of state but when in the area, we utilize their veterinary services due to the confidence we have in their clinicians! The level of treatment and care coupled with the very competitive cost is a rare find.

Very pleased with this office. They were the only one in the area that was willing to see my dog even though their schedule was full. Even our usual vet office would not fit her in. They were amazing with her.

We had our first encounter here yesterday with our great Dane, after being turned away from our established vet- I decided to give Riversbend a call. Not only was the staff extremely accommodating, but they were very friendly and welcoming. They explained the procedures and what they recommended and why. Our Dane was taken care of with utmost care. It was so great during an unknown event with our dog, that she was in great hands. I also appreciated them being able to schedule a follow up so quickly.
